Trasformazioni e impatti della Ricerca sull’Arteterapia – Art Therapy Research Transformations and Impacts

Si terrà il prossimo 13 aprile 2025, online su piattaforma Zoom, il Follow-up del Seminario “Trasformazioni e impatti della Ricerca sull’Arteterapia”, sempre in compagnia di Lynn Kapitan (con traduzione consecutiva).

Il seminario fa parte delle serie di incontri di approfondimento sul tema della Ricerca in Arteterapia e DanzaMovimentoTerapia proposti dalla Commissione di Formazione Continua di Art Therapy Italiana. Approfondire il tema della ricerca, oltre a rispondere alle numerose richieste dei soci ATI, sostiene la consapevolezza di ciò che sta accadendo nella nostra professione a livello internazionale, affinché il lavoro svolto dai professionisti AT e DMT sia sempre più visibile, riconoscibile e accreditato.

In questo seminario verrà descritto come la ricerca in arteterapia faccia progredire la professione e l’accesso ai servizi, sia in una cornice storica che nell’attuale movimento verso una base di conoscenza sempre più pluralistica. Saranno esplorate le strategie che permettono ai professionisti di contribuire a questo movimento e incorporare una mentalità di ricerca nel loro lavoro quotidiano. I partecipanti saranno sfidati a immaginare come le loro pratiche, le comunità in cui lavorano e la loro professione, verrebbero trasformate se aumentassero il loro impatto attraverso  le connessioni pratica-ricerca.

The Follow-up to the Seminar Transformations and Impacts of Research on Art Therapy will be held online on Zoom platform on Sunday, April 13, 2025, with Lynn Kapitan (with consecutive interpretation).

The Seminar is part of the series of in-depth meetings on the topic of Research in Art Therapy and Dance Movement Therapy, promoted by the Continuing Education Committee of Art Therapy Italiana.

Delving into the theme of research, in addition to responding to the many requests from ATI members, supports awareness of what is happening in our profession at an international level, so that the work carried out by AT and DMT professionals is increasingly visible, recognizable, and accredited.

In this seminar there will be an explanation of how research in Art Therapy advances the profession and access to services, both from a historical perspective and, within the current movement, towards an increasingly pluralistic knowledge base. Strategies will be explored that enable professionals to contribute by incorporating a research mindset into their daily work. Participants will be challenged to envision how their practices, the communities they work in, and their profession would be transformed if they increased their impact through practice-research connections.

Docente/Professor

Lynn Kapitan, PhD, ATR-BC, HLM, è professore emerito di Arteterapia nei programmi post-laurea e dottorandi, presso la Mount Mary University di Milwaukee, WI (USA) e consulente per la  ricerca. Già direttrice della rivista Art Therapy, e presidente dell’American Art Therapy Association, è autrice del libro “Introduction to Art Therapy Research”.

Lynn Kapitan, PhD, ATR-BC, HLM, is professor emerit of graduate and doctoral art therapy at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI (USA) and active research consultant. She is a former executive editor of Art Therapy, a past president of the American Art Therapy Association, and author of Introduction to Art Therapy Research
